Meet The Shazam For Fonts, The Spector

A photoshop tool has broken out of the screen and transformed into a tangible device. A designer and student from the Royal College of Art, has developed an eye-dropper like tool that can detect the font of a text. Developed by Fiona O'Leary, the device is called Spector. It is a Bluetooth-enabled handheld device and comes with the tag of 'Shazam for font. 'O'leary calls it a 'physical eyedropper', that can pick fonts, typefaces and colours off the real world and directly transfer them to Adobe InDesign.
